The Daly City Musalla is founded on the idea that community coming together for the sake of Allah is ISLAM IN PRACTICE. The Daly City Mussallah is comprised of families from throughout the Daly City and Colma vicinity who ardently desire a place to study and practice and teach the beautiful religion of Islam. Located at 82 Hill Street, this humble Musalla is our offering to the community, the people of deen (Islamic Way of Life) and Allah. We pray that Allah and the people accept this offering, and that it will benefit those in our locality who are seeking religious safety, guidance and community.
The Daly City Musalla provides safe space for Muslims to engage with one another. We observe each of the required five daily prayers, seven days a week. In addition, we host a vibrant after school program for children; ages seven and older, Monday through Thursday from Magrib salaat to Isha salaat. Our after school program, teaches children the fundamentals of deen.
The Daly City Musalla is committed to the Islamic way of life based on the Qur'an and the life examples of Prophet Muhammad. We serve as a center for religious development, social, educational, economical, and cultural enrichment. We believe in the Oneness of God and the oneness of humanity. Furthermore, we are committed to promoting excellence in community life in general and human dignity for all individuals throughout our city, regardless of religion.
At the Daly City Musaallah, we are blessed to have trained Islamic scholars, who teach classes and conduct seminars which available to our entire community. Moreover, we are very fortunate to have a female Islamic scholar who is available to attend to the specific needs of the sisters in our community. All of our scholars are qualified to teach adults and yet they have also committed to train our youth students in our daily after school program.
